General Contracting Your Home

We recommend hiring a General Contractor (GC) or Project Manager (PM) to help manage the onsite construction required for your new home or cottage build. The GC or PM are generally familiar with the local contractors, building codes and residential building procedures.

"While some people can manage their own builds, we don't advise it unless you have experience in residential construction and a solid understanding of building codes and residential construction."

You may perform some of the work yourself if you are skilled and experienced in those areas. There are many ways to help and save that don’t require a lot of experience.

We work with many reputable GC/PMs/Trusted Builders familiar with our building system and have compiled a list of trusted builders that cover certain regions in our service area.

If you have a GC whom you currently know or have worked with, you are welcome to choose your own GC/PM. If no one is listed in your area, we can help you find a suitable GC/PM for your project.
